Spirit Soul

Chapter 268 Death And Destruction

"There is a group of longhorn Serpents in the forest. All of them are at the Krysal stage." Yasmine said, pointing in the direction where she perceived the serpents.

Kyle just nodded his head. He knew about the longhorn Serpents because his nurture ability\'s sight allowed him to see them quite a bit before her.

However, Kyle was actually more interested in something else.

"I know but there is something else I want to focus on the humongous batch of Rabbits in front of us. If we combine our attacks, it will be easy to kill them at once.

We can even cause their rabbit hole to collapse, and I can get my hands on thousands of souls at the Vitae and Krysal stage. Afterward, I can complete the promise I gave the Giganto Eagles, they bring us a little ahead in the direction of the forbidden forest, while we learn the Wing manifestation from the Wings of Ilusia technique."

Kyle seemed to have made up a good plan. Nobody had anything to say against his plan, so they followed it.

\'But why are there so many rabbits to begin with? Is this ecosystem even working properly?!\' Beatrice suddenly wondered, feeling odd that Kyle spoke about thousands of rabbits.

\'Well there won\'t go anything wrong\' She just added, knowing that Kyle wouldn\'t make any stupid mistakes.

\'Even if he does something wrong, he is powerful enough to fix his mistakes.\'

Kyle\'s attention was on the front. He manifested several cyclones in his hand and was ready to throw them out at any moment. His plan was to throw them out, to destroy everything on the surface before throwing a compressed ball of wind and fire straight into the different rabbit holes so that everything would explode.

As long as Aurora supported him with her Sprite Armor, and Arashi provided enough Soul force, Kyle could enlarge the cyclones and reinforce them however much he wanted to.

This would make things a lot easier in the following few minutes. He took a deep breath and stepped forward while Yasmine was ready to supply her phoenix flames to the cyclones in Kyle\'s hand in order to cause more destructive damage.

"These rabbits are weak, so there won\'t be a problem" Kyle repeated once again, only to silently add. "Still be careful of the rabbits we miss out. They should be quite fast, and if a bunch of them attack me or Yasmine, it will be difficult to finish up everything properly."

The moment Kyle said this, Selene and Beatrice moved closer to him.

"We will protect you." Beatrice quickly said before Selene looked over to Yasmine, quietly adding,

"...and you as well, Yasmine. We won\'t forget you."  Selene smiled sweetly but Yasmine could only sigh deeply.

\'Kyle is more important, I get it…\' she thought before her head flicked over to Jaden, whose eyes were trembling visibly.

\'I hope he gets more courageous once Kyle starts nourishing his Prym cultivation vein.\' Yasmine shook her head, only to hear Kyle\'s exclamation,

"Start! May destruction descend!" He almost laughed out loud when he barged through the woods emerging on a large piece of open land. It was surrounded by the huge forest they had been in for quite a while.

However, right now, this piece of flat land would become the dome of hell, the eye of the storm, and the doom for all the enemies of Kyle.

Throwing the cyclones out, Kyle enlarged them immediately. They turned into ten-meter tall, rapidly rotating tornados that spread out at Kyle\'s will.

There were a total of 10 tornados, each of them ten meters tall, and highly destructive, pulling the small 30cm tall corpses of the rabbits in the air where they were torn apart and thrown out.

It didn\'t take longer than a few moments before the grayish tornados turned into a blazing red color. Yasmine used a vast amount of her mana to create an inferno within each of the tornados. The flames were nourished by the terrifying winds that controlled the tornados, becoming stronger and stronger.

Kyle saw this, but he couldn\'t care less about it. His goal was to bring destruction, to reap the souls of the rabbits he killed in massive numbers every single second.

There was no time for him to waste collecting their souls, but it didn\'t take him long to destroy the large piece of flatland, either way.

Everything that could burn turn into ashes, and the rest was flung through the eyes, destroyed.

A bright smile emerged on Kyle\'s face at the sight of this. He was proud of his achievement, an achievement he made while being at the Mid Vitae stage.

He was still a weakling in the face of other Cultivators. However, this attack was something not even Cultivator at the Mid Krysal stage could cause.

The destruction alone was already enough to rival the power of a beast, whose whole purpose was to cause destruction.

Even Beatrice and Selene swallowed their saliva in shock when the searing hot wind blasted in their head. Hundreds of small rabbits were killed in an instant and even without a direct attack on the rabbit hole, it collapsed due to the damage Kyle\'s attack did to the surrounding area.

In a matter of ten seconds, the entire flatland had turned into a huge crater of destruction, the tornados burst open, and the blazing flames erupted one last time, creating a 50-meter-tall flame before they disappeared, forever.

Everyone had expected that the fight would take a long time, that it would be a struggle to collect the souls of the rabbit corpses before they would reach the place Kyle called \'afterworld\'.

However, reality was different. Kyle\'s attack, which was enhanced by Arashi\'s Soul force, and Aurora\'s Sprite armor would have already been powerful enough to cause terrifying destruction. But Yasmine boosted the destructive power of his attack even further, resulting in the destruction of the entire large piece of flatland.

Kyle wanted to look at the magnificent view in front of him, push out his chest and feel like an overlord, even if it was just for a few seconds. It would boost his ego and allow him to feel as if he had accomplished something since he reincarnated on Shima.

But he quickly realized that there was no time to waste and that more and more souls separated from the body of the deceased.

It was time for him to collect all the souls, and to do so, he needed his weapon, Starbreaker, the devourer of Souls!

Numerous souls could be stored inside the storage of the katana, which was exactly what he needed. After all, the souls of several thousand beasts at the Vitae and Krysal stage were not something Kyle\'s body could handle.

Thus, when Starbreaker manifested in his hand, Kyle didn\'t waste a single moment before he flew in the air, using wind platforms. Arashi separated from him to collect the souls of the beasts, that had been thrown far away from the flatland, while Kyle collected everything in the most crowded areas.

They had only one or two minutes, which was why both Kyle and Arashi used as much Soul force as possible to increase their speed to the highest possible.

It was impossible to catch all souls, but by subconsciously pulling the souls toward him, and by absorbing them through his body before leading the soul particles inside the katana\'s storage, everything worked out better than expected.

Some rabbits from within the rabbit hole took longer to die as well, providing more than enough time for Kyle and Arashi to collect more and more souls.

In the end, Kyle had collected more than 3500 Souls, which was more than enough to nourish the Giganto Eagles.

This was an amazing feat, and it was only obvious for him to be proud of it. He didn\'t feel guilty about what he did, and neither did he worry that his action would destroy the ecosystem of this place.

\'There are numerous other places with even more of these weird rabbits out there. If I were to stay here for a few weeks, I could probably nourish all of Arashi\'s paths, find out the necessary paths of development for Aurora, and nourish both Jaden and Selene to a certain extent.\'

However, Kyle knew that they didn\'t have weeks to stay so close to the Lahin kingdom. Even if the chances were minuscule, there was still the possibility that they might get caught.

Kyle wanted to prevent this, and he didn\'t actually plan on destroying an entire ecosystem, even less because Yasmine warned him about this.

\'I\'ve seen more than enough when I heard about this Forest Guardian beast. I don\'t want to face it head-on, or have it in my face ever in my entire lifetime.\' He thought, hiding his smile.

Even if his attack against the rabbits had been powerful, it didn\'t mean that he was truly someone who could be considered strong. There were numerous existences on Shima, who were far stronger than he was. This was a fact, and also something Kyle wanted to change as quickly as possible.

"How about we return now? We have to get rid of those Giganto Eagles, and start our journey to the forbidden forest!" Kyle said, his eyes gleaming brightly at the thought of leaving behind the greedy leeches.

They had been helpful for the time being but it was annoying to have too many members in their group, who had to be nurtured thoroughly.

Yasmine and Beatrice\'s talent was already exceptional, and they would only need some help in the far future.

However, there were Arashi, Aurora, Selene, Jaden, and the devouring tree\'s seedling, who needed constant nurturing.

Kyle could ignore the devouring tree\'s seedling for the time being, but the others needed to be nurtured so that their strength could increase as quickly as possible.

Strength was the most important and they had enough cultivation resources to cultivate for years, if necessary.

\'Thinking about cultivation resources, I have yet to exchange a share of my mana stones with Spirit Stones and Prym stones. We should do that in the next biggest city…on the other side of the Anadra kingdom if possible.\'

Kyle might be frowned upon for being too careful, but that was not something he could care about.

He wanted to prevent anything from happening, which was why everything was necessary.

The others understood this, and the only ones who were complaining were the Giganto Eagles, who were nurtured, and would be abandoned soon.

In fact, Kyle nourished them just a bit before telling them to fly them a few more days to the west, where they were fully nurtured before Kyle set them \'free\', whether they wanted or not.

Only death awaited them if they were to follow Kyle, after all!
