Spirit Soul

Chapter 278 Choice?

"So that\'s it?" Beatrice asked, looking at the lifeless corpse of the chubby merchant. The Krysal stage Cultivator had been injured by Selene to the extent that he didn\'t even survive the first drainage of blood.

It was somewhat disappointing, but it clearly showed how terrifying Selene\'s torturing was. Beatrice didn\'t contribute a lot to the chubby merchant\'s death.

She merely gave the final push, while Selene did everything in her hand to torture the chubby merchant without kiling him.

This drained him so much that Kyle was pretty astounded when he found out that the chubby merchant was still alive until a few moments ago.

\'Selene barely kept him alive,\' He thought, his nurture ability clearly showing him how serious the situation was before.

However, now that they were done with their \'mission, it was time to leave.

"Yeah, that\'s it. Let\'s leave, we have a lot to do," Kyle said ignoring the corpse on the ground.

He had absorbed the chubby merchant\'s soul. This should be more than enough torture from his side.

The others nodded their head and went for their own way. Jaden had returned from his \'walk\' outside their temporary base as well. He didn\'t look that good but that was mostly because his mental health seemed to be suffering a lot.

In the last few weeks, too many things had happened, and Kyle understood Jaden\'s worries more than enough. The Queen of the Lahin kingdom might want to take revenge on them by now, and they had kidnapped and killed the direct subordinate of the Thunderclaw kingdom\'s seventh prince.

This could mean lots of trouble it. However, there was also the fact that Jaden was way too weak to enter the forbidden forest, the place they were targeting to enter.

Kyle wanted to enter the forbidden forest in less than half a year, and everyone below the Acerta stage would have trouble surviving there for more than a day.

Jaden had a lot of pressure weighing on him and Kyle\'s nourishing was only partially helpful.

"Don\'t worry. We will search for highly populated places, and I will focus on nourishing you first, okay?" Kyle asked, smiling at Jaden, who could only nod.

There was nothing else he could do. He had already betrayed his kingdom of origin, and Kyle was the only person, who could help him actually become stronger.

With that in mind, Jaden steeled his heart after he sighed deeply for once.

"I\'m ready," He merely said. It was not much, but Kyle could tell that it meant much more than the fact that Jaden was ready to travel around in search of highly populated places where they could hunt..

He smiled at Jaden and turned around to the girls. There, he saw that Yasmine burned the chubby merchant\'s body. She looked up when she noticed that someone was looking at her.

Yasmine\'s expression was pure innocence but her action was the complete opposite.

\'Innocently burning a corpse…yeah, I think I\'m dreaming,\' Kyle\'s lips twitched but he chose not to mind what he had just seen.

This was better for his mental health, and his future.

"These three, they changed…" He mumbled silently enough for nobody to hear him. He could tell that the three were different than before. They had become more proactive and they showed their interest in him without hesitation.

The three women didn\'t even hesitate much anymore. They wanted to be the first to help him, and they wanted to be the most useful. Kyle was not interested in getting a lover right now but it was impossible for him to ignore their feelings completely.

That wouldn\'t be fair to them either.

\'Will I be able to stay with them, even if I were to reject them?\' Kyle wondered.

He was actually not sure what he wanted to do but it made no sense to him that he would fall in love with all three of the girls.

Of course, he adored them, and they were extremely to him but there hadn\'t been a spark yet.

\'It\'s better to maintain a good relationship will all of them, Beatrice will have to stay with me forever, either way. I don\'t even want to imagine what she would do if I were to reject her bluntly without knowing what exactly I\'m looking for,\' Kyle thought. His mind was in a mess, but he could tell that there was not really a way out of this situation.

Before he had been reincarnated, he might have already been handsome but it was not as if women swarmed around him. At least, there was never someone, who actually wanted to spend his entire non-cultivator life with him.

Kyle never felt like that either, in the past. However, in this life things would be different, from the beginning.

Cultivators could increase their lifespan and with his abilities, all of them could attain the necessary cultivation talent to become Immortal.

As long as they weren\'t killed, not even the weirdest and strongest disease could kill them. After all, Kyle\'s nurture ability could heal literally everything.

If he were to choose a lover, or reject someone, Kyle would think about his decision for a long time. It was a decision for the future, forever if possible. He couldn\'t just do whatever he want just because he wanted to.

\'Well, it\'s not like I will have to decide what to do right now. There is still more than enough time left in the future,\' Kyle thought telling himself that he would think about what to do every now and then.

However, his focus would still remain the same, for now.

"We\'re also ready," Selene suddenly said, and Kyle nodded his head summoning the wings of Ilusia.

He soared in the sky, and everyone else followed him without hesitation. With the Nurture ability activated, he could easily tell where most beasts were located and how strong they were.

Things got even easier now that Kyle learned how to differentiate the different hues of development in a more efficient way.

It even allowed him to determine what kind of weaknesses some beasts had.

"Our next missions are to hunt, hunt, and to hunt!" Kyle said with a slightly excited expression.

In a matter of half an hour, numerous high populated regions appeared in front of him.
